Intent

Intent is the secret sauce.

You can have a Buddha for a teacher,
You can have the empowerment to become enlightened,
You can have heard many inspiring words from those who’ve awoken,
But these alone won’t make you enlightened.

To become enlightened, you have to want it intensely.
You have to intend it.
